Finding the Healer Within:
Experience the Shamanic Journey
5 sessions starting Tuesday, January 17, 2012
6:30-8:30 pm
This is an excellent intro to the classic shamanic journey for problem solving, well-being and healing.
Shamanic Journeying is a joyful path for regaining the knowledge of how to bring our lives back into a place of harmony and balance.
$72 for 5 sessions 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/21, 2/28
or $18 a class.
Using the shamanic journey to meet up with our own helping spirits we will explore altered states of awareness that can unlock answers to difficult personal questions and mobilize energy for reaching goals in everyday life.
Participants will learn how to use the shamanic journey for insight, vision, and healing. Leia will also teach a couple methods for healing others as well as shamanic methods for reconnecting with nature to bring balance and harmony into our lives and to the planet.

There will be a brief teaching before we begin for first timers. During the practice of transfiguration, you allow your body and thoughts to dissolve until you are just spiritual light. From this place of radiance, healing with spiritual light for self and others is amplified as the group transfigures as one.
Please bring a small 4 oz jar of water or a small sealed bag of soil to put on the altar. The water and soil will be transfigured. I will explain more as we prepare for the ceremony.

In this workshop, we will explore the shamanic approach to death and beyond. This will include the classic psychopomp work to heal the dead, and ways to help people through the sacred transition of dying.

Over these two weekends, you will learn how to perform a powerful classic shamanic method of soul retrieval to help people who have suffered soul loss from an emotional or physical trauma and how to integrate this ancient shamanic healing method into a modern-day culture, to address the needs of our time.
We will look at how to diagnose soul loss, perform soul retrievals, and the telling of healing stories. We will also focus on life after soul retrieval...how to help clients create a positive and healthier life as well as ways to help clients integrate the returned soul parts.
Prerequisites are a good knowledge of shamanic journeying as well as a strong relationship with a power animal or teacher in the spiritual realms. There is an application for the course so that Leia can make sure this course is right for you.

This series will teach how to identify "spiritual intrusions", how we get them, how to prevent sending them out to others and how to remove them.
